Crisp tortilla chips with a melted blend of cheeses, our fresh handmade guacamole, salsa fresca, signature “no-fried” pinto beans™and sour cream. Enjoy it topped with grilled all natural chicken raised without antibiotics.

 

Quesadilla

Toasted flour tortilla with a melted blend of cheeses. Served with our handmade guacamole, salsa fresca, sour cream and a side of tortilla chips. Your choice of melted cheese, grilled all natural chicken, pan-seared shrimp and grilled veggies.

 

Bean & Cheese Burrito

Rubio’s Bean and Cheese Burrito combines our signature “no-fried” pinto beans™ with a blend of cheeses and mild salsa. Wrapped in a toasted flour tortilla and served with a side of tortilla chips.

Rubio’s Kids Meals include a wide variety of entrées, any two side items, and your choice of rBST-free milk, Motts Apple Juice or a kid’s drink.

• The Original Fish Taco® – Beer-Battered Wild Alaska Pollock, cabbage and our original white sauce on a stone-ground corn tortilla

• Cheese or Chicken Quesadilla – Melted cheese in a flour tortilla.

An order of chips and guacamole complements any meal. Our guacamole is prepared fresh daily in our kitchens. We mash Hass avocados, mix with chopped cilantro, and add a sprinkle of natural sea salt, garlic and lime juice.
Tortilla chips are also prepared fresh daily with a light sprinkling of all-natural sea salt.

 

Black Beans

Our black beans are made fresh daily from scratch and are seasoned with a dash of garlic and topped with shredded cheese.

About Rubio’s Coastal Grill

The first Rubio’s restaurant was opened in 1983 at a former Orange Julius site on Mission Bay Drive in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. The first restaurant offered French fries, calamari, and fish tacos, among other cuisine.

In 2005, a class action lawsuit was brought against the company complaining that the “Lobster Burrito” offered at the restaurant contained squat lobster (also known as Langostino) rather than clawed lobster from the family Nephropidae. Rubio’s subsequently changed the name of their product to the “Langostino Lobster Burrito” to avoid future confusion. The burrito is currently only occasionally sold, as a “limited time offer”.
